GACHI Platform Privacy Policy

GACHI Platform safely protects members' personal information and processes it transparently in accordance with applicable laws.

Article 1 (Purpose of processing personal information)

The company processes personal information to the extent necessary for membership registration, identity verification, electronic-component search and quote requests, ordering/payment/delivery, seller approval, customer support, service improvement and prevention of misuse.

Article 2 (Personal information items processed)

  1. Member information: name, email, contact, password, member type, company name, department, position and other information entered by the member
  2. Transaction information: quote request details, order history, payment status, shipping address, inquiry and consultation records
  3. Service usage information: access logs, IP address, cookies, device information and misuse-detection records

Article 3 (Retention and use period of personal information)

  1. Member information is retained until the member withdraws or the purpose of use is achieved.
  2. Transaction and payment records may be kept for the period prescribed by applicable laws such as e-commerce regulations.
  3. Information not subject to a statutory retention obligation is destroyed without delay after the purpose is achieved.

Article 4 (Provision of personal information to third parties)

Except with the user's consent or where specifically required by law, the company does not provide personal information externally. However, the minimum necessary information may be provided to relevant businesses to the extent needed to fulfill transactions, such as order processing, payment, delivery and customs clearance.

Article 5 (Consignment of personal information processing)

To provide smooth service, the company may consign some tasks — such as payment, delivery, identity verification, email sending and system operation — to external specialists, and supervises them so that personal information is processed securely.

Article 6 (User rights and how to exercise them)

  1. Users may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of their personal information at any time.
  2. Member information can be edited directly in My Page, and additional requests can be submitted via customer support or the inquiry form.
  3. Information that must be retained by law may be subject to deletion limits during the applicable period.

Article 7 (Personal information protection measures)

To ensure the security of personal information, the company implements technical and managerial protection measures such as access-rights management, password encryption, access-log retention, security-program application and the establishment of internal management standards.
